Pujya Sadguru Pt. ShriRam Sharma's Thought

Pujya Sadguru Pt. ShriRam Sharma's Thought
A Silent Place

Sadguru’s thought regarding our inner situation.Actualy  inner position is a mainly cause for our success or unsuccess,so sadguru wrote in detail about our inner position.
Sadguru Thought In Akhand Jyoyi ,2005
There is a silent place inside us where those captivated by the world can never go. The prison bars are only limited beliefs and concepts. They cannot hurt us, but by focusing on them, reality is beyond reach. If our focus is fixed on the tiny speck in the microscope of our minds eye, we miss the shining sun in a universe of universes. We see the pile of dirt before our eyes and miss the vastness of the Eternal all around us. This vastness is a
Sacred Place
only perceived in the emptiness of quieted mind. Without paying attention to all the chatter, we are free to perceive a reality we never leave. Only in the dreams and delusions of the mind can we be deceived into believing in a world of discord and in harmony. With an opened inner eye we perceive the same sky and fields, but they are now singing a song of joy.
We stand now in an ocean of contentment. Bliss or despair, what do these matter now? We are the eye that perceives in all directions without misconceptions. Here we are, awake to the dawn. Feel the gentle breeze and smell wave after wave of freshness as morning dissipates all appearance of night. Hear the trilling of the birds singing. They must know something we long for.
Our eyes search the skies to find these divine ones disguised in feathers in the trees. Their song is a calling to our soul to fly freely, to sing the songs beyond words that praise the dawn. "Just to be, that is enough for me." In this moment, joy or sorrow are only changing conditions. We can smell the fragrance of the rose that always blooms, no matter what the season.
We can hear a silent song that echoes throughout creation. We are the song of that one that sings. Oh how we would be the song going forth from the lips of the Beloved. We are like grapes yearning to become the wine of the Divine. Crush us beneath Your feet and hide us in Your darkened cave, until we are what the Master always intended us to be. To be free, to see all that we can be. What more could we ask for? The Beloved is knocking at our door. Open it up and let that One in. What does it matter if our lives are shattered and thrown down? That which forms all life will lift us up again. What if we are only an empty cup? Surely the Beloved will fill us up with roses, so we may fill this empty room with their fine fragrance.
We are on the verge of knowing the Eternal. We are only a breath away. Feel It beating in our chest. Hear It all around. Feel It breathing us, now.
A Light There is Light, if we can find it, That dissolves the night that cloaks a troubled heart. It is the Sun that slowly rises, And in its Light, the night is gone. There is a
Silent Place
, when we can find it, Not in some distant city or foreign town. Its here, not very far away, Just within reach of our awareness, now. There is Love, thats waiting for us, That fulfils, even erases, our greatest desire, For It, and It alone, is the object of our affections, Not some fickle lover, but a fiery Joy, that lifts us higher. To see! To be! That is the all of what we seek.
The price is high; forsaking our personal sense of wanting; But for this sacrifice, a new world is revealed. In which this inner Light alone, yearns to know Itself. When weve mastered all the rules that guide us. Even these must fall away, as stages in a rocket ship, On a journey that takes us beyond this world To another, not far away, but here within us now.

Thanks GOD,Thanks Sadguru

Pujya Sadguru Pt. ShriRam Sharma's Thought about Science & Spirituality

Pujya Sadguru Pt. ShriRam Sharma's Thought
Integration of Science and Spirituality-1

Imbalance or disharmony in any system, any action, generates problems of one kind or the other. Narrow-minded approach or lack of comprehensive considerations eventually leads to inadequate and problematic consequences, even though it might seem to offer some immediate success. This is because of the incomplete comprehension or negligence of some of the crucial aspects of a situation. In order to achieve an orderly, well-organized, balanced and fulfilling human life, we need to pay due attention and give proper importance to the necessities of its interwoven physical, intellectual, mental and spiritual realms in the individual and social domains.
A human being consists of a marvellous amalgam of matter and consciousness force. The physical or the gross body is made up of the basic elements and their evolved reactions and results, so its healthy sustenance and vigorous functioning largely depend upon the balanced concentrations and activities of these vital constituents. The subtle or the conscious body mind and the inner self, which also lies at the base of the living existence of the physical body, receives the transmitting energy from enlightened thinking and virtuous sentiments. The vedic philosophy emphasizes the harmonious growth of both the gross and the subtle realms.
This comprehensive and integral approach lays the foundation of personal, familial, social and global development in an ideal way. Discrepancies, imbalances or disorder in any sphere of life causes different kinds of complications and difficulties of varied nature, which directly or indirectly hinder, retard and even reverse the graph of healthy soul growth and ascent. A thorough understanding of human life becomes feasible by a comprehensive study of the interrelationship between the human mind, Nature and the Omnipresent Consciousness Force.

Pujya Sadguru Pt. ShriRam Sharma's Thought

Pujya Sadguru Pt. ShriRam Sharma's Thought
Scientific Views and Trends on Fourth Dimension of Personality-3
Sadguru Thought In Akhand Jyoyi ( july-Aug.03)
Their family life too is disintegrated and broken. The authors also cite many instances of unsuccessful married life or post marital affairs in case of professionally efficient and talented people. Because of the complications in the families their children often tend to adopt whimsical habits and disastrous addictions. A thorough analysis of the moment to moment activities of daily life of a person would clearly reflect that it is the heart the emotional center which plays a more important and prominent role in life than the mind the source of thoughts and intellectual deliberations. Serene sentiments vibrate the intrinsic centers of consciousness and generate subtle flow of immense energy. A large number of transcendental potentials existing in the inner recesses of human self may be aroused if the thought process is linked with this source of eternal liveliness and heavenly bliss. In-depth research into emotional aspects of personality has lead a significant number of modern psychologists conclude that EQ is a unified measure of ones experiences, wisdom and multiple facets of personality and character. Emotional Quotient pertains to the evaluation of integration between the external and internal domains of ones life. Strengthening of this integration coupled with compatibility of internal desires and external activities is of utmost importance in the present age. Unification of bhavasamvedanas with the thought process and intelligence shapes the multi-dimensional growth of personality. It induces the sense of social responsibility, moral duties and awareness and inclination towards dignified ideals of life in awakened minds of the intelligentsia and eminent talents and thus offers a viable solution to the multifarious problems being faced by mankind today. The criteria for evaluation of executive management faculties have now drastically changed in the developed countries like the United States of America. EQ is increasingly being given more importance in these nations than the IQ in the schemes of assessment normally applied in executive recruitments for scientific, administrative, social and commercial establishments.
It is not that EQ contradicts or annuls the importance of IQ, rather, it is a more comprehensive measure which incorporates IQ along with other measures of qualification in a constructive manner. Persons scoring high EQ are found to be successful in the truest sense of the word. Robert Cooper argues that it should be given priority in recruitments in the judicial disciplines as well because the wisdom of a compassionate judge would naturally be more sensitive towards empathetic fairness of justice in human society. Considering the vital role of emotions in human psychology and hence in every walk of life, the reputed research center of the EC Systems Incorporation at San Francisco, USA had first established the technique of EQ mapping. A group of scientists under the supervision of Esther N. Arelai and Karen Trokey of this organization had surveyed over 2000 organizations in the USA and Canada and prepared this map based on comprehensive analysis of the psychological makeup, intellectual caliber and performance of the subjects in personal, social and professional domains of life. This map is getting increasingly recognized and used ever since then.
It is now being used as a crucial measure of personality evaluation in industrial organizations in almost all European countries and also in Japan. Millions of executives and officers and top ranking managers have so far been assessed by this technique. It is remarkable that those scoring high in this evaluation are found to be more efficient and successful than their colleagues with lesser EQ. The highest mark on the quotient meter of this map is supposed to indicate an ideal combination of compassion, maturity, emotional stability and sagacity. The notion that proper development of the inner qualities of personality is necessary along with endeavors of progress in external, worldly domains is gaining more and more recognition in the foresighted sections of modern society. Inspired by this idea, James MacGregor Bern writes that "People of high intellectual caliber and repute also search for the blissful world of emotional peace which exists beyond the narrow peripheries of thoughts and dry intellectualism". Bern has also elucidated the causes of failure of many high profile professionals on personal fronts of life. He argues that IQ covers only about 4 to 7 percent of the intellectual activities. The inner domains of life and the mental expressions are not confined to these activities alone. The remaining 93 to 96 percent of the functions of mind are still unknown. No one has been able to invent a measure of these latent potentials of human brain. Sentiments and intrinsic feelings play a dominant role in the overall development of character and personality and in the orientation of life. Consideration of this fact has given rise to incorporation of EQ based analysis of personality. Refinement and strengthening of sentiments and inner emotions is reflected in higher EQ and it also amounts to penetrating the subtle layers of the non-deciphered, latent portions of mind. Assessments based on EQ are therefore proving to be more comprehensive and useful than those involving only IQ.
Victor brothers write in their book entitled "Build Your Brain Power" that most people use only about one thousandth fraction of their mental potentials. The remaining part of the true intellect is beyond the grasp of conscious mind. Similar views are expressed in the volume "Emotional Intelligence" authored by RJ Sternburg. He emphasizes that the world cannot be analyzed or judged by passive intelligence or skill alone. All aspects of daily life cannot be understood by only intellectual thinking. Realization of the impact of sentiments and soft emotions is inevitable in these endeavors. It is only the conjunction of serene thoughts and human sentiments, which can touch upon the deeper depths of the manifold manifestations of the individual self. The materialistic orientation of the mode of living has certainly put trenchant skill and brilliance at the forefront of success in many respects. Despite its immense importance, this yardstick cannot be regarded as universal. Unidirectional development of talents or intellectual potentials may lead to extraordinary success in particular areas. But, "how fulfilling and stable are such accomplishments?" is open before every one. Every thoughtful mind knows the limitations of single tracked developments. Even in this money oriented world, where does one find that wealth has been able to buy peace and love? Which social, economic or educational system has maintained all round development of the society? What has led to the environment of insecurity, anarchy, dissatisfaction, terror and animosity despite excellent progress in science and technology and excessive expansion of wealth in this world? Searching an answer to this unresolved question lays fingers at only one predominant cause namely, uncontrolled and unethical use of intellectual talents. All sensible minds ranging from those of philosophers to the physical scientists, administrators to artists, psychologists to neurologists etc, have envisaged utter need of collective incorporation of humane sentiments and rational thinking in shaping future course of developments in every walk of life. Robert Cooper has even declared that if IQ has set the milestone of progress in the 20th century, it is the EQ, which will enlighten the bright future of the 21st century. Lack of emotional warmth makes one apathetic, acrimonious and cruel. If the so called super civilized society of today does not care for edification of sentiments and sustenance of humane values, the trends of progress will sooner or later be reversed towards decline and extinction. According to Dr. R. Dommascheso, chairman of the Neurology Department in Iowa College of Medicine, depletion of compassionate sentiments is the major cause of increase in abnormal attitudes and arrogant and unethical behavior of people today. He emphasizes that although reasoning and decision-making are principal activities of human brain, they are intrinsically associated with the inner functions of mind reflected in soft sentiments and emotions. Harmonious blending of sound reasoning, creativity and serene sentiments lays the foundation of the ideal balance in life, which is referred to as "Samatvam Yoga Uccyate" in the Gita. Disruption of this harmony between intellect and internal emotions is at the root of all distortions and disorders in ones psychological makeup and personality. Dr. Robert Rozenthol, a noted psychologist from Harvard recommends mutual integration of sentiments and thoughts as the best solution for healthy development of personality and amelioration of the aberrations of intellectual potentials. Only compassionate persons can adopt the principle of honesty, mature understanding and altruistic cooperation in every aspect of life in a most natural way. Individuals endowed with the nectar of bhavasamvedana enjoy a blissful and progressive life with peace and contentment in every respect.... If conjugated with maturity of thoughts, their intellect too gradually becomes more alert, alive and responsible about the world around. It should be noted in the present context that emotional sensitivity alone could be as counter-productive as unbridled intellectual supremacy. The flow of soothing sentiments maintains the internal harmony and that of discerning intellect refines the actions pertaining to external domains of life. Emotional Quotient is indicative of the creative balance between the two. Professor M. Scottfitz Gerald considers that human mind is continuously activated by two simultaneous streams of consciousness reflected in emotions and ideas. If the two are harmonized and one attempts to analyze those subtler aspects of inner emotions which are usually beyond the reach of intellect, the intrinsic layers of his wisdom begin to open up which can illuminate all dimensions of life and guide them on the righteous path towards glorious culmination. Revolutionary thinker of America, P. Sorokin attributes maximum importance to sentimental sincerity and even argues that the edifice of Philosophy and Psychology stands only on the strong foundation of emotions and intuitions. Rushmore Keener, the founder director of Global Ethics institution opines that it was only the unrestrained use of intellect devoid of compassionate control of sentiments, which led to the development of audacious dictatorial personalities like Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin in the twentieth century. The recent trend of increasing emphasis on emotional fitness in the areas of management is indicative of the fact that scientific community is now recognizing the importance of refinement of sentiments. However, this concept was realized and rigorously implemented in every walk of life thousands of years ago by the rishis the ancient Indian sages, seers and scientists of spirituality and human psychology. These sagacious visionaries had regarded knowledge as meaningful only if it is inspired and induced by pure sentiments and prudence. The rishis had recognized shraddha1 as the sole source of deciphering the ultimate truth and absolute knowledge Shraddha Satyamapyate. The scriptures created by these seers and sages of yore have shown the philosophy of yajna altruistic attitude inspired by serene love, compassion and illuminated intelligence as the natural guiding force towards the righteously progressive path of eternal human journey towards light. Creative adoption of the philosophy of yajna in human life is equivalent to inculcation of bhavasamvedana. Nature has bestowed immense source of bhavasamvedana on women. This is the reason why, given a chance, women are by and large found to be more efficient and successful than their male counterparts in organizational management and leadership and in many creative fields of human endeavor. The current scientific trends of research on the fourth dimension of human personality and the consequent emphasis laid on high EQ indicate the unfolding of a new era of revival of the teachings of Indian Science and Philosophy of Spirituality. We, the people of modern age understand the new terminology better and may therefore realize the importance of emotional facets of life in new scientific light. If we succeed in doing so, the tree of our life would blossom radiantly on the soil of our bhvasamvedans and endow us with sublimating and ennobling virtues. This would induce mutual co-operation, respect and love in place of jealous competition, strife and hatred pervading in the human society today. The prophesies of "descent of heavens on the earth" or "rousing divinity in humans" etc would then be realized in foreseeable course of time in the new millennium. Thanks to the afflatus educed in few trend-setting scientific minds so that, though belated, humanity has once again visualized the glow of divine sentiments and is gaining momentum to follow the righteous path of spiritual enlightenment along with the scientific and technological developments. Note 1: The word shraddha, in a broad sense, refers to intrinsic faith in moral ideals, devotional insight and pure sentiments inspired through the inner self.

Scientific Views and Trends on Fourth Dimension of Personality-2
Sadguru Thought In Akhand Jyoyi ( july-Aug.03)

Lack of compassion or emotional depth often gives rise to split- personality. It hinders internal peace and happiness. Such people implicitly live in a perplexed, restless and dolorous state of mind. Apathetic individuals, despite being successful materialistically, are most likely to face a dissatisfied and unhappy personal life and their distorted emotional complexity impedes the evolution of their own inner self. Elevated EQ is indicative of healthy development of personality. It is a measure of ones sincerity, fairness, sense of responsibility, cooperativity, integrity, mental stability, patience, perseverance, humane sentiments and sympathetic attitude towards others grievances. These are indeed the qualities, which lay the foundation for healthy and progressive survival of the human society. Intellectual spheres too are illuminated in the eternal light of pure emotions and altruist sentiments of unconditional love and intrinsic compassion. Persons endowed with high EQ make best use of their potentials, and resources and endeavor for multidimensional progress with dignity of noble ideals. Their foresighted and altruistic activities bring peace and happiness for others too. In view of the eternal linkage between inner sentiments and subtler forms of consciousness, it is also considered natural that substantial rise in EQ opens up the possibility of sublimation of intrinsic potentials and spiritual talents. Eveman and Robert Cooper had presented an in-depth analysis of this measure and thereby added new directions to the concept of efficacy in management in their extensively reviewed thesis entitled "Executive E. Q." In their views, unidirectional intellectual development without any attention towards sentiments, transforms human life into a mechanical and cheerless routine. This also accounts for varieties of mental complications and makes ones mentality prone to addictions. Many a times it is seen that multitalented scholars, businessmen, officers, managers etc, who are very successful in their skilled creativity and professions, prove to be a total failure on personal and social fronts.

Pujya Sadguru Pt. ShriRam Sharma's Thought

Pujya Sadguru Pt. ShriRam Sharma's Thought
Scientific Views and Trends on Fourth Dimension of Personality
Sadguru Thought In Akhand Jyoyi ( july-Aug.03)

Human intellect is the source of creation and gigantic expansion of the gamut of activities in life. Sagacity and wisdom are therefore regarded as important for viable success in any area of progressive life as vigor and wealth. The twentieth century has indeed been the age of evolution and sharpening and expansion of human intellect in many respects. Almost all the major discoveries and inventions of the modern era have taken place during the period of past 200 years. These have stood as the milestones of modern scientific civilization. Despite the ascent and maximum use of might, wealth and intellectual talents in this era, we find something missing in terms of overall development and healthy progress when we notice the increasing trends of strives and disputes based on skilled arguments and counter-arguments triggered by invidious and egoist thoughts, aplomb and conspiracies created by wicked planning of ingenious brains driven by selfish motives. Concerns about this pathetic side of life today remind us of yet another stream of power naturally bestowed on human beings namely, that of bhavasamvedana sentiments of empathy, love and compassion. The rishis in ancient India had defined the existence of human entity as "Raso Vaisah" which implies the immense importance of this fourth and most intimate and deep dimension of personality. Intellectual development and creativity of talents remains incomplete without the conjunction of emotional purity and benevolence of inner sentiments.
Realization of this fact has given rise to new trends in modern scientific methods of assessment of human personality. A new psychological parameter called emotional quotient (EQ) is now used along with the intelligence quotient (IQ) as a measure of ones emotional depth and stability and also of his compassionate and edifying control over the thought process. The EQ is increasingly being given more importance than the IQ in recent studies. At the edge of steep advancement of science and technology, today, the scientific community has by and large realized that incisive thinking and intellectual talents alone cannot lead to ultimate knowledge. Development of emotional sensitivity and elevation of faith in high ideals of humanity is essential for integrated progress of the world. Noted psychologists like Dr. Robert Frost opine that the frequency of occurrence of psychosomatic disorders and mental diseases has today risen up to an alarming level mainly because of the negligence of our emotional being. Even a highly successful industrialist, a billionaire, an efficient manager or anyone else, who has accomplished significantly in the domains of intellectual potentials and talents, remains unsuccessful and backward in terms of complete development of personality if he or she does not possess reasonably high EQ.

How to Achieving Goal of Progress

Sadguru Thought In Akhand Jyoyi ( Jan.feb.10)

A person, who does not fear the process of change, is called progressive. He knows that becoming static is synonymous with inactivity, dullness and sluggishness. One who does not move forward, does not welcome new ideas and new experiences, loses his energy. A progressive person has to forget the past, accept the present, and prepare himself for overcoming the obstacles. Only those who are active should be considered alive and conscious. They possess all the virtues needed for success. Those who fear change should be considered lifeless and dead.

A number of changes, like day and night, profit and loss, meeting and separation, etc, are encountered in everyday life. In spite of appearing opposites, they are all inter-related. A person’s individual and social life is a collection of such events of change. Their purpose is to make a person or community alert, courageous and brilliant. Human dignity lies in welcoming the challenge of change in order to move forward. Fearing change and accepting the status quo is cowardice. Only those people are successful who consider change to be as an opportunity for progress and accept it wholeheartedly and gladly.

At the dawn of the New Year 2010, let us resolve to meet the challenges of change with a positive attitude inspired by faith and hope.

Thought Power-2
Pujya Sadgiru Pt.Shri Ram Sharma Wrote about Origin of Thoughts. Sadguru  wrote in Akhand Jyoti :-

The origin of thoughts
The thought-power and willpower are generated in the mind. Numerous mind boggling examples of the immensity and trenchancy of these mental powers are available in the history of mankind. Paragons are born by awakening of these hidden sources of inner force.
Many demonstrations of willpower are recorded in different parts of the world; some are even entered in the Guinness Book of World Records; these often appear astonishing to the masses. While most of us might have experienced willpower as the strength of determination, only few would know that thought-power and willpower are manifestations of the same subliminal force of the higher mind and are implicitly the same. Mental concentration is an effect as well as a generator of this power. Every impulse of focused mind is also a refection of this power.
Enlightened and deep thoughts are more evolved expressions of this power, which is also regarded by the modern researchers of metaphysics and parapsychology as a source for deciphering the extrasensory psychic force.

Pujya Sadguru Pt. ShriRam Sharma's Thought

About Sadgurushriram sharma acharyaPt. Shriram Sharma Acharya (1911-1990)A sage, a visionary and a reformer, the Acharya initiated a movement for transformation of era, lived a disciplined life of devout austerity, visited the Himalayas several times and attained spiritual eminence.

He translated the entire Vedic Vangmaya and accomplished a feat of writing more than 3000 books on all aspects of life.

Sadguru wrote about Environment
The Need of Refined Environment

A sadhak (devotee) should be considered fortunate, if he gets an opportunity to do sadhana under the shade of Himalayas, in the lap of Ganga, in a devotion-filled environment and under powerful protection and guidance. The paramount importance of Sadhana Upasana is repeatedly stressed in the Indian Philosophy and the scriptures of Yoga. In spite of this, it has been observed that sometimes people following all the prescribed rules and rituals do not get the benefits of Sadhana Upasana, which have been mentioned in the scriptures.
This is due to the negative effects of the environment. It is true that some Siddha ascetics change the environment with their will power and Tapa Sadhana (penance). But it is also true that the effect of environment is quite significant in the development of human beings. As Sadhana Upasana is related to ones traits and each environment has its own good or bad aspects, the quality of place and environment becomes all the more important for higher level Sadhanas. Many positive and negative examples illustrating the forceful effects of environment may be found in history as well as in daily life.
There is a famous story of Mahabharat. In order to select the place for the great war between Kaurvas and Pandavas, Lord Krishna appointed a special adept in the subject. He searched for a suitable battle-field around Hastinapur which had strong vibrations of fratricidal conflict. Upon returning he narrated one incident in which he saw two real brothers fighting in Kurukshetra. Lord Krishna chose this very place for the war, because he had a doubt that Arjun, being very sentimental, might refuse to fight with his own kith and kin. Similar incident is narrated about Shravan Kumar. When he was taking his parents in a Kanwar on a holy pilgrimage, he came to a place where he not only threw down the Kanwar but also abused his parents.
After crossing that region, he felt deeply remorseful for his unbecoming behaviour. His father consoled him and told him that it was none of his fault. That place once belonged to a demon Maya, who imprisoned his parents and then killed them there. It is a fact that the land too has its subtle vibrations and they can be felt by visiting sacred tanks, temples or graveyards. The soil of Kullu is famous for apples. Such apples cannot be grown elsewhere even by providing best manure, water and conditioning. The oranges of Nagpur and the bananas of Bhusaval are not available elsewhere. Whereas Muzaffarpur is famous for lychees, Lucknow is famous for muskmelon. The tasty mangoes that are grown in Malihabad and Banaras, are rarely found elsewhere. Sandalwood trees grown in the forests of Mysore have their own special fragrance. A vast difference in the quality of grains is observed due to the variation of environment. The wheat of Punjab is much better as compared to the wheat grown in other parts of India. Cows, giving milk, can be found in the entire country; but there is no match for the cows of Haryana. It is the Azerbaijan region of Russia that is famous for centenarians. Death before 100 years there is considered untimely.
These are all the effects and qualities of environment. One cannot remain unaffected by them. The same principle applies to the vegetation. The herbs are the same, but when they are grown in different regions, their qualities vary. A significant difference is observed in the properties of Brahmi (a medicinal herb) grown on the bank of the Ganga in the Himalayan region and that grown on the banks of rivers in the plains. The same rule applies to other herbs too. According to the regional peculiarites, the difference is found not only in the human configuration but also in the behaviour.
Although, a human being is free and, in principle, he is fully capable of transforming all the traditional pressures with his own will power; but on the practical plain, it has been observed that the regional environment goes on moulding the residents. In spite of giving recognition to originality of a person, it has to be accepted that the majority of the people in society does not live thoughtfully but it lives under the influence of environment. The castes and families too have their own peculiarties. The religiousness in Brahmans, bravery in Kshatriyas, economic shrewdness in Vaishyas, artistic skills in sculptors, etc. are more pronounced as compared to others. Some tribes have the habit of theft and pilferage as their inherent traits. Some classes are notorious for cowardice and foolishness.
When we search for the causes of these behavioural differences, only one prominent cause that is encountered is that when a person lives in a particular societal environment, he develops the virtues or the vices accordingly.
To day we should always think about best environment.

Pujya Sadguru Pt. ShriRam Sharma's Thought

Pujya Sadguru Pt. ShriRam Sharma's Thought
How to Achieving Spritual Greatness

Sadguru Wrote In Akhandjyoti ( March.03)Regarding  Spritulity :-
Steps Towards Achieving Spiritual Greatness
True greatness (as opposed to worldly bigness) can be attained by vigilantly pursuing high ideals. Once we are able to awaken our Inner Being and mould our lives in the light of inspirations coming from within, it is possible to attain greatness of the spirit even while living ordinary lives in the worldly sense. The basic hurdle in the way of attaining spiritual awakening is our false sense of identity The Ego.
Ego can be dissolved through Divine Grace only; and hence the importance of constant remembrance, prayer and contemplation of God for true aspirants of the Divine . Cultivation of values like faith, compassion, love is essential in Sadhana. But the love for God is the highest of all virtues. It is also called devotion, which is of greatest help in the realization of God. This has been the experience of all saints and seers of all ages and cultures.. In fact, some embodied medium is required to augment the practice of devotion. Normally, the practice of augmenting greatness through the medium of devotion to God starts with devotion to Guru (spiritual guide). Therefore, in our religion and culture, Upasana (worship by sitting nearby) has been considered the first and compulsory step in spiritual Sadhana.

Among the various means of progress and upliftment, Swadhyaya (study of spiritual texts) and Satsang (company of masters who have attained self-realisation) have been considered exceptionally fruitful and convenient. In a way Swadhyaya too is Satsang of thoughts. But the proximity of awakened souls produces deep effect on the innerself. The nearness of saints fructify rapidly through their speech, thoughts, aura and behaviour. There is no better way than Satsang for the refinement of self. Even incorrigibly wicked and immoral persons have been transformed into great souls by the effect of Satsang.

Satsang is certainly helpful in the task of soul-growth.However, under the present circumstances, hypocrisy that has spread in this field, produces more harm than benefit. One is bombarded with worthless, conservative, fatalistic and escapist thoughts in these satsangs. Unrefined and unscrupulous persons masquerade as Gurus and in order to increase their following advocate cheap recipes or tell mesmerising stories of some devi-devata (deities) and give false hopes of heaven or salvation to credulous masses.True seekers have to beware of such tricksters
These days, by and large, the need of Satsang should be fulfilled through Swadhyay. Of course, if genuine Satsang is available where one can get true guidance for the refinement of life, then one should avail of it and get its benefits. But there is no point in going to a place or a person where time is wasted in useless and ridiculous day-dreaming. One can get the benefit of the company of great souls at home by regularly studying their literature which brightens inner light, refines the character and produces harmony in our beliefs, deeds and behaviour.

Swadhyaya does not mean merely reading books. Its true aim is to get inspiration for introspection. An ancient scripture says:
Ratyahampratyavekshetajanashcaritamatamanah|
Kinnu me pasubhistulyam kinnu satpurushairiva||

Every person should go on vigilantly watching ones thoughts, emotions and deeds with a view to eradicate negativity and inculcate nobility. This method of self-introspection can also be called Swadhyaya. Those who have done Swadhyaya in this way have attained the supreme goal of life self-realisation.

Unbridled self-indulgence is a most serious obstacle in the attainment of greatness. The circumstances of sorrow and pain, poverty and degradation in the human life flow from physical and mental indolence and self-indulgence.

Self-control is the key to heaven. It leads to inner peace and bestows divine knowledge, which illuminates the entire life of a human being. In order to achieve spiritual freedom and abundance, a well-regulated routine is a must. The meaningfulness of human life depends on whether the goal of salvation has been achieved by making purposeful use of this embodied life. This is achievable only through self-control.
It is certainly unwise to waste ones vital energies by reckless indulgence in worldly pleasures. A human being possesses unique qualities of will, discrimination, choice and thinking which put him apart from other creatures of this world. The Creater has gifted these qualities to man to achieve some great objective. This can be attained by the purity of thoughts and deeds which is possible only through self- control. In this connection, this is what the Divine Teacher of the Gita says
Asanyatatmana yogodushprapya itimematih|
Vashyatmana tu yatata Shakyoavaptumumayatah||

--- Gita-VI /36

It is difficult to attain yoga (union with the Divine) by those who lack self-control. Only those persons who have self-control are able to succeed in their efforts towards self-realisation.

Self-control is the cornerstone of the edifice of character.Virtues like compassion, detachment, sacrifice, etc. are qualities of a calm, quiet and controlled mind. Mechanical, unbriddled, haphazard thoughts lead to similar deeds. If our minds and senses function as obedient, well-honed instrument ( not as despotic masters), liberation will be ours even while doing our worldly duties.Living in the world but not of it.

Another deadly foe in the path of achieving greatness is ego. Due to their selfish view point, egotists inflict pain on others. But the evil tendency of exploitation of others on the basis of force makes a person fall. So long as this attribute remains, a person might collect huge wealth in the mundane world; but in fact he will be considered a pauper.

The wealth of a person, in no way, reflects his greatness. Had this been the case, physically strong people, rich people and the ill-famed leaders and dacoits would have been worshipped everywhere. They would have got applause of humanity. But, actually, this is not true. A person gets the honour of being called great only when he serves others wholeheartedly. There are millions of people who are living in adversity. Persons working sincerely for the uplift of such people may get the honour of being called great.

True greatness of a person is not determined by his transitory achievements in the mundane world. A person who is humble, kind, compassionate, pure of heart and generous, may be living an ordinary life but he is a great soul. Such greatness can be attained by a four - step self-effort: Sadhana (self-discipline), Swadhyaya (self-introspection), Sanyam (self-control) and Seva.

Pujya Sadguru Pt. ShriRam Sharma's Thought
Where And How To Find GOD ?

Sadguru Wrote In Akhandjyoti ( Jan.03)Regarding GOD & Spritulity :-

In Search Of God... Where And How To Find Thee?

"Faith in God" forms the very basis of all religious developments and has intimate relationship with Human Psychology. Despite this, nobody, not even the theists and scholars of Theology have given a universal definition of Thou. Each one of us has his or her own conceptions, realizations and understanding of God. This somewhat depends on our intrinsic make-up, training and environment of life and mental conditioning. Whatever be our imagination of His 'forms', if our faith is true and piet, our 'God' certainly offers us immense love, courage and motivation to live with moral dignity. Understanding and absolute realization of - "Who is God, Where and How is God?", has been the quest of all spiritual devotees, religious scholars, seekers of Nature, and other people since the origin of mankind. This type of questions, of fundamental importance in human life, reflecting the eternal inquisitiveness of human self, have been dealt by Pt. Shri Ram Sharma Acharya in this volume in most non-prejudiced, authentic and universally acceptable manner.

The existence of the cosmic order of Thou, the reflections of omnipresent Supreme Consciousness and the scientific roles of faith and devotion, etc. have been excellently discussed by Acharya Sharma. He also analyses ancient scriptures and philosophical transactions on these topics in scientific light with rational logic - leaving no room for ambiguity, blind faith or misinterpretations. His in-depth knowledge and understanding of Human Psychology and his serene love for all beings empower his words with unique personal touch and spiritual charge which take his views to the inner cores of our hearts. His writings penetrate far beneath the surface of intellectual deliberations or philosophical expressions and enable us think, realize and feel through the deeper core of our sentiments, the truth in what he explains.

The word "God" is referred as "Ishwara" in Sanskrit language. Literal meaning of this word expresses - "That, whose glory is reflected in every direction, everywhere, in every component of Nature, within and beyond the limits of the cosmic whole. That whose piety, power and expansion is unlimited." Comprehensive decipheration of "What is God?" - is considered impossible for human intellect. HE exists every where. Every activity of Nature is governed by HIS universal laws. HIS discipline makes the existence of every thing - ranging from subtle energy flows to the infinite expansion of the cosmos, possible. The eternal order of times originates and ends in Thee. Time, Space and subtler as well as higher dimensions of existence are HIS expressions.
The presence of God can be felt in every breath of vital force. The grand unification of all souls, the universal force of ultimate evolution of collective consciousness may be 'defined' as THY soul -   Paramatma. Because of our extrovert attitude, we usually search for the existence and expression of God in Nature.
As the activities of Nature and its visible forms lie within the domain of our perception or have been deciphered through scientific and technological developments, we often tend to seek Thou presence by similar means and try to prove HIS existence by the scientific principles and logic known to us or with the help of some established theories acceptable to most people. But, such attempts hardly lead us to any conclusion. How could THAT which is - Omnipresent, Eternal, beyond the grasp of intellect, source of conscious, unconscious and super-conscious faculties, Self-existing Creator of - Nature, ecosystem, cosmos and all the tangible as well as the extrasensory forms of existence, be realized, explained or analyzed by materialistic means or by using the principles of yet incomplete domains of scientific knowledge?...

Pujya Sadguru Pt. ShriRam Sharma's Thought

Pujya Sadguru Pt. ShriRam Sharma's Thought.

TWO ASPECTS OF HUMAN LIFE : MATERIALISM AND SPIRITUALITY (1)
Sadguru Wrote In Akhandjyoti ( Jan.03)Regarding Spritulity :-

There are two aspects of human life: one that relates to the physical body materialism; and the other that relates to the inner self (the soul) spirituality. Materialism means an inclination towards acquiring material possessions and comforts; in short, it is a tendency to lead a life in which pleasures of the body are given preference above anything else. Spirituality means, centred and established on the soul, that is, activities in life are decided keeping in mind the awakening of the soul. Normally a persons needs are fulfilled with limited materials such as food to satisfy hunger, few clothes to cover the body, a bed for rest, a house for shelter, etc.; anything over and above the basic needs either remains unused or is misused. For example, if a person who can eat four chapattis for lunch were given eight chapattis, it would be beyond his capacity to eat the extra four chapattis. A single bed is enough for a person to sleep on; any more bed space would remain unused. Considering this, a few hours work is sufficient to satisfy bodys requirements. The same is true for senses also.
There are five physical senses: touch, smell, taste, hearing and vision. No matter how beautiful a view may be, the eyes will tire of seeing it after a few minutes. The ears will not be able to listen to melodious music indefinitely. A person will be able to eat only a certain quantity of food of his liking. Thus the senses have limited requirements, beyond which they become saturated. But senses are never satisfied they always crave for more. The mind is considered to be the sixth sense. Its attributes are greed, attachment (moha) towards worldly objects and people, and egoism. The mind experiences joy when these three attributes are attended to. Man generally engages his time and effort in satisfying the requirements of the body and the mind. The mind propels him to fulfill the three attributes and also employs the body in its schemes.
This is not surprising, since satisfaction of the senses is a bodily requirement, and the mind is one of the senses. The mind is different from the rest of the senses in that it is always unsatisfied and ambitious. New hopes and ambitions arise once the old ones are fulfilled. Suppose a person desires to buy a house. He would remain preoccupied with that thought because there is an attraction in it. Once a house is bought, the attraction fades. If a person does not have children, he would yearn for them; once he has children, they appear burdensome. A similar principle applies to other things, such as household items, clothes, etc and to attachment towards people. Therefore greed and attachment are attractive only until they are fulfilled. Egoism also follows a similar principle. A secretary in a company feels his job status is low and aims for a higher status so that he can elevate his standing in the society. It is possible that several persons within the company may be trying for the same position.
Therefore he becomes an enemy for them, since now he is an extra competitor in the race. In case he does succeed in fulfilling his egoistic desire in progressing towards his dream position, mental peace would elude him because there would be several people scheming to dislodge him. His ego thus becomes his own dangerous adversary. The worth and importance of a well-mannered, disciplined person is obviously more than that of an egoistic person. No circumstances or individuals can challenge a gentleman, whereas examples of egoistic people suffering ruin can be seen all around us. A gentleman is respected while an egoistic person is ignored....( Countinue......)
Thanks GOD,Thanks Sadguru.

Pujya Sadguru Pt. ShriRam Sharma's Thought

Pujya Sadguru Pt. ShriRam Sharma wrote so many books. Guruji's concept is a very clear regarding every subject .They also wrote about Thought :
Res.Guruji said we should very careful when we think :-
Be cautious with your thoughts
The social norms and governmental laws may constrain the conduct and visible deeds of a person. But every one is totally free in the unlimited expanse of mental creations, imaginations, thoughts, feeling … etc. This is why most of us don't care for the immense capabilities and impact of the hidden powers of mind and the inner self. The shastric concept (affirmation) of mental p³pa and puñya should serve as a timely warning for us. The kinds of imaginations and thoughts one's mind is inclined to, or is often engrossed in, inspire and influence his attitude, mental tendencies and hence his actions because of the compounding effect of the thought-waves of coherent quality. Thought power is like fire or electricity, which should be used cautiously; little carelessness may cause havoc in the subtle world and eventually give rise to equally hazardous consequences in the visible realms of life.
Thought is a most powerful activity of our inner force, so we should always be alert about thoughts

POWER OF THOUGHTS

POWER OF THOUGHTS
THINK POSITIVE
Parampujya Sadguru Pt.Shri Ram Sharma “Acharya” said positive thoughts is only way to find GOD.
Sadguru Said

Every moment of human life is intensely interwoven with thoughts. The key of the ascent or degeneration of one’s life lies in his thoughts. The frequency-range and cosmic expansion of the thought waves is said to be much higher than that of the electromagnetic waves.
How the evil, the divine, or the intermediate level thought wave would influence one’s mind depends upon the nature of the latter’s ideosphere, his vital energy and the intensity of the currents of conscious force associated with the thought waves. Similar kinds of thought waves make dense clusters. Conjugation of the resonant clusters of thought waves with the eternal power of pr³ña (the source of vital energy) generates the flow of thoughts. Because of the compounded flow, the velocity and charge (impact) of these currents of thought waves is amplified exponentially.
People with greater strength of the inner self and elevated levels of pr³ña can attract and influence many others by the aura of their vital energy and the enthralling force of their thoughts. This is how they can effectively lead and shape the mass movements. This influence could be positive and constructive or it could be untoward and damaging. History has witnessed how the inspiring thoughts of great personalities have saved the human dignity and made the destiny of the masses by altruist movements. There also exist historical examples of dictators like Hitler, Mussolini, etc whose cruel and negative thinking had misguided many and blown the society in the dreadful fire of hatred, discrimination and wars….
The body of a person emits an aura as per the intrinsic level of the triguñas (Sat – Raj – Tam ) in his personality. Kirilian Photography could record the variation in the colors and intensity of this aura with respect to the quality of one’s thoughts and emotional currents, to some extent. Studies of people’s auras reveal that likewise the fingerprints, the aura of a person is also unique. The aura of strong characters can influence the people having weaker mental and vital strength. The thought waves also constitute an aura, which has subliminal and visible (by Kirilian recording) domains.
The dense clusters of the cruel and untoward thoughts pertaining to lust, hatred, ego, jealous, revenge, etc, emit dirty black aura while those of fear and anxiety possess brown shadows. The color of the aura reflected by the thought waves of pure love and affection is recorded to be bright red, whereas that of sexually charged love and attraction is brownish red. The thought waves driven by self-esteem and ambition constitute bright orange, those of intellectual trenchancy coupled with inner piety emit yellow color in the aura. The thought waves emerging from spiritual illumination reflect brilliant light blue color in the aura. The vision and analysis of the subliminal aura of thoughts or the ideosphere is possible only by the yogis who are endowed with extrasensory powers and whose acumen has a reach in the deeper depths of human mind.

The great yogis possessing pierce vision of the ideosphere can read one’s thoughts, decipher his nature by looking at the aura around him. They can view the shadows of the aura around the human body without any instrument. The yogis who have attained higher realms of spirituality also possess the extrasensory potential to influence others’ thoughts
realms of spirituality also possess the extrasensory potential to influence others’ thoughts, and vibrate and illuminate people’s ideospheres by the radiance of their immense willpower, With the ever new discoveries on the bioelectricity and sensory potentials of the human body, the scientists had begun to accept the effect of positive thinking on human body, which is an arcane electromagnetic instrument –that emit and attract thoughts and sentiments to and from anywhere in the cosmos.
Pls.Think Positive

PARAM Pujya SADGURU SHRI RAM SHARMA ACHARYA’s THOUGHT

PARAM Pujya SADGURU SHRI RAM SHARMA ACHARYA’s THOUGHT

Respected Gurudeo Pt. Shri Ram Sharma Acharya known as a YUGRISHI and his thoughts is a most valuable. Guruji said for those, who want to know
Who I AM ?
 Know Step by Step -----

1.SOHUM (I am That): Indeed potentially I am That Absolute Truth - Consciousness incarnated in human form. Attaining higher spiritual levels are easy for me. I am a Sadhak (devotee) whom Yug Rishi has given an opportunity to do Sadhana towards Self-Realization.
2. SHIVOHUM (I am akin to Lord Shiva): Shiva means auspicious. Essentially I am a blessed person; so how can there be any place for evil in my thoughts, feelings or actions? If any inappropriate trait has stuck to me due to bad company/surroundings, it is foreign to my essential nature and I resolve to rid myself of this dross.

3. SACHCHIDANANDOHUM (My intrinsic Nature is TruthConsciousness - Bliss): Why should I be affected by falsehood? Why should I chase a mirage? I am innate bliss; why should I vainly seek happiness in the transient world?
4. AYMATMA BRAHMA (Thy soul is a Spark of Brahma (Divine)): As the ocean is water so also is a drop. Every ray of the Sun has the qualities of its Radiator. Howsoever small the Soul confined by the ego may seem it has the capacity of uniting with its origin – Brahma. Both tap and tank are capable of giving water. So why should I remain caged in the false sense of identity with the ego and feel miserable; why not become Omnipresent? 5. TATVAMASI (You are That): You inherit the attributes of the Supreme Soul and the whole creation is your embodiment.
Respected Guruji Said
We are sparks of the Eternal and Imperishable spirit and our souls are here on their upward path to immortality. The essence of our Being is the Supreme Spirit (Parmatma – Brahma) – the source of the creative cosmic play; and we are here to awaken to the Reality of true identity.

If we want to know about GOD,we should think on Res. Guruji's thought
Jai Sadguru,
Thanks GOD
